Donovan Jones
Co-Founder
Donovan is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Elysian Health Group dedicated to delivering personalized, preventative, technology enabled, integrated healthcare.
He has been building businesses and investing in growth companies for 20 years. Previously he was the CEO of a financial technology company which was sold to an international media company. Prior to that he was President and CEO of a collaboration software company that he led to the company’s listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange and NASDAQ. The company was subsequently sold to a US communications company. Prior to that he was in investment banking and with one of the largest communications companies in Canada with roles in product management, corporate development and mergers and acquisitions. He has been on the board of directors for the BC Tech association and was awarded a regional top 40 under 40 award for leadership and innovation. He studied English and Economics at the University of Alberta before completing an MBA at the University of Calgary.
For Donovan, living his best life longer means spending time with his wife and three boys traveling, training and playing the occasional round of golf.

Dr. John Diggle

Co-Founder & CMO
Dr. Diggle is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of the Elysian Health Group, dedicated to creating a model for health that allows patients to receive personalized and integrated medical care.
He first studied genetics and cell biology at the University of British Columbia before completing his training in medicine and neurology at the University of Calgary. He went on to do subspecialty training in neuromuscular disease and epilepsy at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
A long-time Surrey resident, Dr. Diggle returned here with his family in 2007, where he’s since maintained an active practice in neurology and integrated health. A Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia, he’s passionate about discovering ways to improve upon the current medical system and make it simpler for his patients to get the holistic care they deserve.
For John, living his best life longer means always being able to play the guitar with his great-grandkids on a porch somewhere warm.

Dr. Werner Spangehl
BSc, MD
Dr. Werner Spangehl is a Family Physician who was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, and has enjoyed living in BC since 1989.
He has been providing full-service family practice for over 30 years, which has included maternity care, hospital care, teaching, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions spanning all age groups.
Dr. Spangehl provides medical care with a focus on lifestyle interventions. At Elysian Health, he has joined the Concierge Medicine and Executive Health programs. He is a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and was among the first group of physicians to become Board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine in 2017. Lifestyle Medicine studies and evaluates the science behind nutrition, exercise, sleep, meditation and relaxation, relationships and purpose – to prevent, treat and even reverse chronic medical conditions.
Dr. Spangehl is the author of One Minute Medicine: Your Effortless Guide to Vibrant Health – which discusses the determinants of health and contains 12 Habits of Healthy People. He delivered a TEDx Talk in White Rock in 2018 about using Food as Medicine to improve blood flow and organ function. (Search: “Spangehl TED”)

Dr. Sundeep Sarai

Dr. Sarai grew up in Surrey and attended UBC where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology & Genetics. Dr. Sarai thereafter moved to the United Kingdom where she attended and received her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree at Leicester University.
Subsequently, Dr. Sarai practiced medicine in Scotland where she completed her Family Physician training and was a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners prior to returning home.
Outside of work, Dr. Sarai recently became a mother and loves spending time with her family.
Dr. Sarai speaks English and Punjabi.

Rich spent most of his early life in White Rock and South Surrey and graduated from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UBC in 2003. He spent a few years practicing in BC before moving to Calgary for 14 years, where he managed several pharmacies and was licensed as a prescribing pharmacist.
For the last several years, Rich has had a keen interest in patient education on lifestyle changes and self-care to promote wellness, with the ultimate goal of helping people to increase both lifespan and healthspan.
For Rich, living his best life longer means being able to lift weights and exercise with his son... and his grandkids too.

Adam Mulford is a registered kinesiologist with the BCAK and Manual Osteopathic Therapist with CMMOTA.
Adam decided to add to his 14 years of kinesiology experience to see if there was a way to treat individuals the same way he rehabilitated his clients, through a whole body approach. This is how he discovered Osteopathic Therapy. Manual Osteopathic Therapy creates balance in all the body by using many specialized advanced manipulations of the fascia, bone, joints, cranium, and organs, in short, all of the body’s structures.

Dr. Ormerod utilizes a combination of manual therapy, rehabilitation exercise and patient education to help his patients recover from acute and chronic injuries.
